How do I connect my phone to My Flow?

Launching Opera Touch and My Flow for the first time will take you through the connection process. If you wish to reconnect a phone or create a new connection, follow the steps below.

To connect to My Flow with a QR scan:

  1. From your phone, tap  and tap Settings.
  2. Under Connection, tap Connect to computer.
  3. Tap Scan QR Code (your phone may be asked to allow Opera Touch to access the camera).
  4. From your computer, open My Flow in Opera’s sidebar and click Connect Your Phone to reveal a QR code.
  5. Scan the revealed QR code with your phone. Your phone and computer will connect.

Should you be unable to scan the provided QR code, you can manually enter a connection code to connect to My Flow.

To set up My Flow with a connection code:

  1. From your phone, tap  and tap Settings.
  2. Under Connection, tap Connect to computer.
  3. From your computer, open My Flow in Opera’s sidebar and click Connect Your Phone.
  4. Below the revealed QR code, click Manually enter connection code
  5. On your phone, tap Scan QR Code (you may be asked to allow Opera Touch to access the camera).
  6. Tap Type the connection code and type in the code given from Opera desktop.
  7. Tap Enter. Your phone and computer will connect.

If both methods fail to connect, refresh the My Flow panel in your Opera computer browser to generate a new QR code or connection code. 

How do I disconnect my phone from My Flow?

Disconnecting your phone will prevent it from accessing content in My Flow. The content will not be erased from My Flow and will be available to other connected devices. Anything previously sent from the phone you wish to disconnect will remain in My Flow.

To disconnect your phone from My Flow:

  1.  Tap  and tap Settings
  2. Under Connection, tap Reset connection.
  3. In the double-check prompt, tap Reset.

If you wish to reconnect the device, repeat the connection process.
