Navigation

To switch navigation options, tap the three-dot icon and then Settings. Scroll down to Navigation and select your preference.

Standard navigation

Standard navigation is a classic navigation interface with the search bar on the top of your screen.

Bottom Search

Bottom Search is an interface with the search bar on the bottom of your screen, for easier, one-handed use.

Fast Action Button

The Fast Action Button is designed for easy one-handed use, allowing you to navigate your Opera Browser through one button. The Fast Action Button uses vibrations, or haptic feedback when interacting with elements in the button. Vibrations can be turned off in Settings.

Tab and hold the Fast Action Button to open it. The Fast Action Button is divided into two rows. Tabs are displayed on the top, and menu options below.

In the top row, you’ll see your three most recent tabs, a link to your Tabs screen, and a three-dot icon that leads to the main menu.

Reloading pages

To reload a webpage, pull the page down and release. In other words, scroll the page to the top until you begin to pull the page away from the top of the screen, and release to reload the page.

Swipe to navigate back and forth a page

You can move forward and backward on a page in a tab’s history by swiping the page to the left or right side.

To go to the previous page, touch the left edge of your device’s screen and swipe to the center of the screen.

To go forward one page, touch the right edge of your device’s screen and swipe to the center of the screen.
