Press Page Down and Page Up to switch slides.
The key Opera functions are available from the main menu. Note that nearly every element of the browser can be Ctrl-clicked to display a context menu offering further options.
The main menu contains the following default elements:
Optional menu items
Additional items appear on the menu when you enable other Opera features, for example:
|Feeds||appears when you subscribe to a newsfeed and allows you to manage your feeds|
|appears when you set up an Opera Mail account and allow you to manage your mail and contacts|
|Contacts||appears when you set up an Opera Mail account and allow you to manage your mail and contacts|
|Chat||appears when you set up an chat account and allow you to manage your chats|
Context menus appear when you Ctrl-click various items and elements, either in the browser or on a webpage. They contain options relevant to the current element.
The page menu appears when you Ctrl-click a part of a webpage where there are no links, images, or forms.
Options of note include:
- Reload Every »
- Monitor page by reloading frequently
- Send Link by Mail
- Compose an email message to tell a friend about the current page
- View the source of current document
- Validate the source of current document using an online service
The context menu for selected text contains a number of useful options.
The link menu appears when you Ctrl-click a link and lets you decide how to open or save the linked document or address. Try here
The image menu appears when you Ctrl-click an image and contains multiple options for opening, copying, and saving the image. Select "Image properties" to get all available metadata on the currently selected image.
When you click an image that has a link, a menu will appear that combines items from both the image and link menus.
The "mailto:" menu appears when you Ctrl-click a "mailto:" link and lets you copy, save, or use the linked email address. Try it here
When you click an image that links to an email address, a menu will appear that combines items from both the image and "mailto:" menus.
The form menu appears when you Ctrl-click inside a form field. It holds a number of text editing options as well as the option to insert personal information from the Forms preferences and notes. Select "Check spelling" to perform a spelling check on all content in the current form field.
Opera's built-in user style sheets can be used to improve readability, debug markup, and drastically change the appearance of webpages. To use the available style sheets, selectand choose from the following:

|Fixed Table Layout||Set all table-layout styles to fixed|
|High contrast (B/W)||Show black text on white background|
|High contrast (W/B)||Show white text on black background|
|Inline Structure||Show all inline element structure|
|Outline||Display outline for all block elements|
|Table of Contents||Display only header elements|
|Table Structure||Show all table element structure|
|(Available alternate style sheets for current site appear here.)||Select alternative styles provided by the website|
Tip: You can add your own style sheets, and configure "Author mode" and "User mode", in the Content preferences.
Some of the most useful and frequently used preferences are available in the "Quick preferences" menu.
You can access this menu at any time by pressing F12 or selectingfrom the menu.
