Notifications

Preferences > Advanced > Notifications

Press Page Down and Page Up to switch slides

Sounds

Sound clips can be played for certain Opera program events. For example, you can play a jingle when a file transfer is complete.

Select an event and click to select a sound file from your computer.

Pop-up notifications

Opera will display a message when

• New e-mail, feed, or news items arrive
• Pop-ups are blocked
• File transfers are completed

You can choose to disable some or all of these notifications.

Note: No notifications will be displayed when you are using another application, such as a multimedia player, in full-screen mode.
