Menus
Press Page Down and Page Up to switch slides.
The key Opera functions are available from the main menu. Note that practically every element of the browser can be right-clicked to display a context menu offering further options.
Main menu
The main menu contains the following in its default setup:

As you register accounts and activate Opera's messaging clients, their corresponding menu items become available. In the Browsing preferences, you can select to add a Window menu to the main menu.

Context Menus
Context menus appear when you right-click various items and elements, either in the browser or on a Web page. They contain options relevant to the current element.
Page menu
The page menu appears when you right-click a part of a Web page where there are no links, images, or forms.
Options of note include:
- Reload every »
- Monitor page by reloading frequently
- Send link by mail
- Compose an e-mail message to tell a friend about the current page
- Source
- View the source of current document
- Validate
- Validate the source of current document using an on-line service
Text menu
The context menu for selected text contains a number of useful options.
Link menu
The link menu appears when you right-click a link and lets you decide how to open or save the linked document or address. Try here
Image menu
The image menu appears when you right-click an image and contains multiple options for opening, copying, and saving the image. Select "Image properties" to get all available metadata on the currently selected image.
When you click an image that has a link, a menu will appear that combines items from both the image and link menus.
Mailto menu
The "mailto:" menu appears when you right-click a "mailto:" link and lets you copy, save, or use the linked e-mail address. Try it here
When you click an image that links to an e-mail address, a menu will appear that combines items from both the image and "mailto:" menus.
Form menu
The form menu appears when you right-click inside a form field. It holds a number of text editing options as well as the option to insert personal information from the Wand preferences and notes. Select "Check spelling" to perform a spelling check on all content in the current form field.
Style Menu
Opera's built-in user style sheets can be used to improve readability, debug markup, and drastically change the appearance of Web pages.
- Click the Author/User mode button on the View bar to toggle user mode.
- Click the arrow on the button to select the style you want from the drop-down list.

Tip: You can add your own style sheets, and configure "Author mode" and "User mode", in the Content preferences.

Quick Preferences
Some of the most useful and frequently used preferences are available in the "Quick preferences" menu.
You can access this menu at any time by pressing F12 or selecting from the menu.
